The daughter of an English teacher and film buff, Alexandra grew up on a diet of Anne of Green Gables and Kurosawa movies. A former rifle and pistol coach in the Marine Corps, Alexandra spent her early adulthood on the rifle range teaching Marines the basics of the M4 service rifle.

She graduated from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC in 2023. Her MFA Thesis film In the Gray was crewed almost entirely by women or non-binary individuals and gave her a greater sense of purpose alongside the joy of filmmaking.

Alexandra’s Thesis film In the Gray is premiering at the Catalina Film Festival on September 23rd.
